Discovery NotesThe weather outside was cloudy with a 50% chance of rain with a high of 33.9°C and a low of 23.9°C. This phage was found under a tree with leaves and worms in the crevices of the trunk. The dirt was crumbly and slightly moist, and dark brown with lighter brown streaks.
Naming NotesWe had quite a long and tedious start to our phage-hunting journey, and had to be very patient in our work. Finally, we successfully isolated a phage and thought it fit to name it Osana because it means "patience" in Hawaiian.
