Discovery Notes- Performed enriched isolation and plated the sample on a spot test and discovered plaques.
- Performed 4 rounds of serial dilution and obtained a pure population of phage with consistent results throughout the various rounds.
- Made a webbed plate with the last round of serial dilution and flooded it to obtain my lysate.
- Titer was too low at first, but with more webbed plates, I got a titer high enough for DNA prep.
Naming NotesNamed my phage PRicky, inspired by the show Rick and Morty.
