Discovery NotesThe soil was collected outside of the McClintock Marshall house at Lehigh University. It was sandy, dry, and cold soil initially covered in mulch.
Naming NotesMy uncle, Christopher Cook, tragically died of cancer 6 years ago today on the 14th of April, 2014. In my uncle's memory, I decided to name this phage after his favorite drink, Peach Snapple, which I fondly remember him enjoying frequently.
