Discovery NotesWe found this phage in a soil and grass sample from the grassy bank to the east of Paccar Center for Applied Sciences on the campus of Gonzaga University. We believe that the sample contained feces from Branta canadensis, otherwise known as the common Canada goose. We chose this sample due to the location being a popular goose hangout spot.
Naming NotesWe chose the name PeanutButter because we we thought it was mildly cute.
