Discovery NotesDiscovered at UKZN Westville Campus, School of Life Sciences garden. The soil was dry and light tan in colour.
Naming NotesNaming of the phage is related to the location (The Flower Garden) where I collected the soil sample. At the spot where I collected the soil sample were two pears, just on the surface and therefore I decided to call the phage the mother of those pears, hence 'Pearma'.
