Discovery NotesThis phage was discovered from soil collected at a friends house. The soil was sampled from the bottom layer of soil, still damp, in a compost bin containing grass clippings and plant debris
Naming NotesPetit in french means small, which coincides with the morphology of my plaques being small and pencil sized.

The original naming of my phage was Patiti, which is the Maori word for grass, which is where I collected my soil sample from (compost containing grass clippings and plant debris). Due to Patiti being a family name here in New Zealand, I was unable to use this as my phages name
