Discovery NotesThe depth of our soil sample was about 15 cm, and it had a dry moisture content. The sample was located in an urban setting and surrounded by many fruits, vegetables, and trees. Rain and foot traffic is very common for the location of this soil sample.
Naming NotesDuring our experiment, we noticed that our plaques had a larger diameter compared to the other groups. Thus, we came to the conclusion of naming our phage phatboi due to the large plaques that we had discovered.
