Discovery NotesThis soil sample was collected on August 25, 2014 at 7:00pm. It was outside Maple Hall at the University of North Texas approximately 2 feet from the wheel chair ramp and 4 feet in front of the bike racks. The day the sample was collected, it was 98 degrees Fahrenheit. The collection was superficial and the dirt was moist from recent rain and was a bit clumpy with roots in it.
Naming NotesWe created the name due to another student in the class burning their arm hair with the Bunsen burner.
