Discovery NotesPhage was isolated from very moist dirt patch, almost muddy in consistency. Dug approximately three inches deep before collecting approximately 30 cubic centimeters of soil.
Naming NotesWe decided to name our phage as an ode to our favorite biology lab teacher as she always says "schmear" in class. We decided to include "jawn" in the name as it is a common slang or "universal noun" that is used in Philadelphia, which is where this phage was isolated.
