Discovery NotesThis phage was found in a flat patch of urban soil near a concrete footpath. It was recovered from a shallow, taken 3cm hole, and the moisture content in the soil was very low.
Naming NotesThis phage was named for being the fifth sample collected near the Discovery Learning Research Center, or DLRC. However, when naming the phage, one of the finders forgot the 'L' component of the building's name, leading to the name it currently bears.

However, since this phage name was declined, the alternative name 'Shrubbery' was used, due to the location it was discovered in, and the excellent reference to Monty Python it provided.
