Discovery NotesThe phage was found in a marshy area near Shriners Children's Hospital. I took soil from a grassy area on the water's edge which emitted a strong musky odor. The humidity was 75% and there was no recent precipitation.
Naming NotesThe phage is named after Commander Benjamin Sisko from the TV show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
