Discovery NotesThe soil where this phage was found was wet, sandy and had little plants growing in it (Dunlop pond water side soil). Soil was collected about 2 inches of depth.
Naming NotesThe name comes from my Grandpa who died when I was younger. He did not go to college, but he started his own company and had an invention he was getting patents for. The number, 45, was the year he was born (1945).
