Discovery NotesSoil was collected from (32.9867492ºN, -96.9722759ºW) in Coppell, TX. The outside temperature was 82ºF and humidity was about 71%. The location is at the bank of Denton Creek. The water in the creek was released, leaving behind moist soil that clumps together. The creek bank has small greeneries and grass growing. Plastic spoon was used to scoop a large spoonful of dirt. The dirt and spoon were placed in a plastic bag.
Naming NotesNamed after my pet duck, Tae. We got him and six other ducklings together, but they all swam away in the creek nearby once they grew. Tae was the only one that recognized and visited us with his new squad of ducks.
