Discovery NotesThe soil sample was obtained from inside of a tree stump that was right next to a stream, located on Norlin Quad.
Naming NotesThe first lysate obtained from the soil sample was pitch black despite centrifuging and being filtered through a 0.2 micrometer filter. Thus, we named the phage Tenebris which is latin for darkness.
