Discovery NotesWe finally found this phage after four other failed attempts. We found it in an area where water drainage often ran over the ground with growth around it.
Naming NotesThanator is named after a ferocious beast in McKenzie Files favorite movie Avatar. We decided on this name because of that and that our phage is a ferocious beast who could only be found and tamed after much hard work.
