Naming NotesThe name Thanos was picked because Thanos is the Titan god highly recognized in the Marvel Universe. In Marvel Thanos is the most destructive being and his name itself has reference to the god of death "Thanatos". We picked out that name for our phage because we believe our phage is the most powerful of all the phages in our phages laboratory. Each time we did plaque assays we had always got really high concentration and the same for our DNA concentration it was out of the league of everyone in our lab.
