Discovery NotesAfter multiple attempts at isolating a phage using M.folism, I was finally able to isolate a phage using M.smeg. This soil sample was gotten from my friend's backyard with the above coordinates. The soil sample was collected at around 12:05am September 29th 2019 on a warm night. The temperature at the time of collection was 78 degrees Celsius.The soil sample in description was grainy, dark colored and loose.
Naming NotesMy phage name is a mash-up of all my names, my last name plus my friend's name whom i got the soil sample from his backyard.
