Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected from a freshly planted flower bed. The soil was loose and had recently been watered by a sprinkler. The sample was in direct sunlight and a heavily trafficked area. The weather conditions were fair- bright sun, no recent rainfall and a temperature of 93 degrees Fahrenheit. The soil was medium brown with small particulates of mulch or plant material mixed in. The sample was taken from the surface up to a depth of 5cm, and was 20ml in volume.
