Discovery NotesWinnlet was captured on February 3, 2022 during a slight drizzling. The phage was collected at 18 cm in clumpy soil that was scant with rocks. The collection site was next to two manholes in a parking lot near Merion Hall at Saint Joseph's University
Naming NotesI’ve always loved Winnie the Pooh. Unfortunately, my parents draw the line at two cats so I wasn’t able to name a cat after Winnie. When I adopted my phage from a classmate, I named it Winnlet after the beloved duo Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.
