Discovery NotesOur bacteriophage was isolated from a sample of soil obtained from a damp site near plants/bushes outside of the exit of the Muenzinger building at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Naming NotesWe named our phage "Bitter" because we struggled throughout the semester trying to isolate a single species of phage, with contamination, etc. "Bitter" is a reflection of our feelings of frustration.
