Discovery NotesFound on January 26th, 2023 in a flower bed outside Ramer Hall on Lafayette College campus, which is an area that receives very low traffic. The sample was taken from 5 cm below the surface on a day when the temperature was 0 degrees Celsius.
Naming NotesWe both love Taylor Swift and the album Lover, so we named our phage Afterglow. This was inspired by our phage that has a halo around it, which reminded us of a "glow". Also, the bridge to Afterglow is amazing.
