Discovery NotesCollected from Baum Grove Parklet at an ambient temperature of ~80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Dark, blackish soil; very dry; fine texture, few clumps. Some thin roots and fragments of dried wood; little to no rocks. Collected about 1-2 inches below the soil surface.
Naming NotesSoil sample was taken from a small park behind the grocery store ALDI (hence the name Aldees--our best attempt to avoid copyright issues)
