Discovery NotesSample was soil with a bush surrounding it, next to an apartment complex, lots of bark on top of the soil, not an area where people would frequently stand but cars drive by closely. Collected 4 inches down at 20 deg C ambient temperature.
Host-Enrichment was done using Arthrobacter sulfureus, Arthrobacter sp., and Arthrobacter globiformis. The soil sample containing the phage was incubated at 30 degrees Celsius for 15 hours with the host bacteria mixture. The mixture was then plated and incubated for 30 degrees Celsius for 48 hours to elicit plaque formation for observation.
