Information: I collected my soil sample from my backyard at my house in Philadelphia, PA. I have dogs that go out to use the bathroom in my yard, so I thought it would be perfect to use because it would contain a lot of bacteria. Around the soil are some flowers and a concrete pavement. The soil was pretty smooth and soft, but it did have little minerals within in, twigs, and definitely had an odor. Lastly, for the most part the filtering process went smoothly.
Naming NotesThe name of my phage came from the color of my full plate, which was a yellowish orange color and then “age” came from phage. I just then combined it into one.
