Discovery NotesThe weather was foggy with some slight rain. The depth of the soil was 15cm. The soil conditions were moist and rocky. The location where the phage was found was off the walkway to Bellarmine Hall from the Science Center in a construction zone. The Humidity that day was 92%.
Naming NotesThe name for this phage came from my shoes when I dug up the soil sample. I was wearing Blundstones, and my family refers to them a Blunneys. I thought it would be fitting and funny to name my phage after them.
