Discovery NotesThe sample was collected August 31st, 2021. The soils was taken from around an inch or two deep in a grassy area. It was not a shaded area but most likely well watered. It was later in the summer so it was still fairly warm and sunny. The soil was relatively soft and easy to collect.
Naming NotesWe named out phage after Bob Ross to be a bit humorous because both our phage and Bob Ross are tall, skinnier, and have a bit of an afro.
