Naming NotesCatzka was inspired by William R. Katzka, the independent research lab mentor for lab member Simer Shera. She owes her lab techniques and familiarity with plaque assays and streak plating to his patience and commitment to teaching. Katzka was modified to Catzka to incorporate cats since our team member, Emily Suani, fosters cats and dedicates her lab contributions to them.
