Discovery NotesSoil sample was collected at approximately 8:28pm. Dug down about 2 and a half inches and collected soil in plastic bag. Soil was damp and a dark brown color. Soil had some organic matter, mainly just plant residue. The outside temperature was 91° F or 32.78° C.
Naming NotesConstantinople was the capital of the Roman Empire. It was founded in 330AD and dissolved in 1453. The city was the center of Byzantine trade and culture and was incredibly diverse.
