Discovery NotesFound in the soil near the Purdue engineering bell tower that had plenty of plant matter. The sample was taken on a humid day a couple of hours after a light rain. Other contributors to discovery are Connor Meek, Race Medema, and Ryan Buencamino.
Naming NotesWhen processing the soil sample, we found an ant in the bag we collected it in. We named the phage CoolBugFactsC5 in honor of it.
