Discovery NotesThe sample was taken from soil located behind a statue on campus. There was snow on the ground but moved in order to collect the sample. Dirt was cold, partially frozen, and hard.
Naming NotesBoth of us live on the other side of Washington and loved to joke about the city one of us was from, and when our Lab Professor recommended we name the phage after the city, we couldn't resist.
