Discovery NotesThe soil the phage was discovered from was 40% sand, 35% silt, 25% clay, and 18.75% water. The soil pH was also determined to be about 7. The site of soil collection was under a large oak tree in the shade. The soil was collected from 6 inches below the surface from a hole that was made around a sprinkler head.
