Discovery NotesTo find the phage, I looked for dead grass surrounded by healthy grass. I then proceed to take a soil sample 1 meter in depth, soil that was moist.

I considered this area as I know something was occurring in the soil.
Naming NotesEsperanza, meaning hope in Spanish, represents the hope that this phage will provide for the medical community. Throughout the process, we had many failed trials to find a phage therefore this phage also represents the hope our team held onto through
our many attempts. Lastly, it is a tribute to our Mexican culture.
