Discovery NotesThe soil sample that this phage came from was around the base of a tree in a man-made landscaped area in a plot of dirt. The soil was very soft and all of the surrounding grass was green.
Naming NotesWe chose Exotic as the name for our phage because our previous two names had been rejected and we wanted our third try to be something exotic. So ironically, the name Exotic was available.
