Discovery NotesI took my soil sample from Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky on February 7th, 2016. I dug about a 7 centimeter deep hole and then collected a chunk of soil and placed it into a 15 mL centrifuge tube. The sample site included a very large green space with some brown patches located close to a sidewalk and large stadium light posts. The temperature was approximately 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming NotesI named my phage "Fantom" because my phage reminds me of a ghost because it is turbid.
