Discovery NotesOur plaque was discovered in a flower bed of a local bank in Longview, Texas. The flower bed was wet from rain the night before, however there was no standing water. We dug about one into the soil to collect our sample. On the day of collection it was about 95 degrees and humid outside.
Naming NotesOn the day of collecting the sample we stopped at Sonic for a 6-piece honey bbq wing meal. Across the way was a really nice looking bank with flower beds surrounding it. We had class soon so we decided that these untouched flower beds would be a good place to test for phages.
