Discovery Notes1/22/17 @ 10:20pm - The soil was retrieved from upper campus of the University of Pittsburgh on the right side of the parking garage near the Cost Center. It was 54o F and it had rained earlier in the day so the soil was moist. There was a layer of dead grass removed from the ground and the soil was loosened with a plastic knife and retrieved by hand with the bag turned inside out as a glove to avoid any contamination.
Naming NotesThe phage was named based on an old nickname I had.
