Discovery NotesThe soil was taken from The Ottawa Hospital side road lawn. The soil was under a water/mud puddle, it was moist and had a fine grain appearance. It had a dark brown colour. It was collected under the Ottawa Hospital sign
Naming NotesI named my phage Hiksen, my grandparents who were brilliant doctors. Hikmat, my grandmother who was a paediatrician and Mohsen, my grandfather who was a cardiologist. Together, they made an exceptional team in treating patients. Hopefully my phage does the same!
