Lysogeny NotesIsolating a lysogen has proven to be challenging. The streak plates exhibit a pattern with few tiny colonies at the top and larger colonies lower on the streak. After 4 rounds of purification a colony was picked and gave off phage in the supernatant that killed wildtype but the isolated cells were not resistant to infection by IreneMarie. We are repeating the isolation.
