Discovery NotesThe soil collected was brownish, black. The soil was very fine and had large chunks. The soil was collected directly after the rainfall and from underneath tall grass. The collection date was August 30th, 2022.
Naming NotesThe phage was found in Maryland, and since Maryland is famous for crabs, the researcher chose the Japanese word for crab.
