Discovery NotesA Soil Sample was found around the flower garden that is presented in front of the Kindlon building at Benedictine University. The soil there is ideal for microbes as they have sources of food. Many bugs and animals end up dropping their waste into gardens or leave behind their saliva on food which is composted into the ground. Before I was going to grab the solid I had to wait a few hours for the soil to be dry from the top as much as possible. I ended up digging a lot but there were too many bugs crawling through the roots. I added about ¼ a cup of soil sample into the bag. The bag from the inside started to get humid itself. It contained some wood chips, roots, and possibly some sand.
Naming NotesI gave my phage the name Lemongrab because it was the name of a children's television program I used to watch called Adventure Time. He was an obnoxious and paranoid ruler of Earldom. Even though he was annoying he was quite funny and had his moments. I decided to name my phage after him because just like him it took time to get to know my phage and have patience with it.
