Discovery NotesThe soil collected had moisture to it due to the rainfall the night before collection. Using a disposable spoon, the soil was collected from about 4 inches under the surface and 1/3 of the bag was filled. It had brown color to it with minimal pieces of leaves and roots.
Naming NotesI chose to name my phage Manal because I wanted to name it after myself.

Plaque NotesPlaque diameter: 2 mm (millimeter)
Plaque radius: 1 mm (millimeter)

I had small phages on my bacterial plates that measured a diameter of 2 mm (millimeter) or a radius of 1 mm (millimeter). The plaques had clear centers and edges. Because my radius was small, I had a higher number of plaques required to create a webbed plate.
