Discovery NotesAn enrichment was created by introducing the soil sample to the host, Mycobacterium smegmatis. The enrichment was then used as the starting sample for the serial dilutions. Five serial dilutions were conducted to purify the phage.
Naming NotesI decided upon the name Marisole from the film, The Cheetah Girls 2.

Plaque NotesMy plaques were roughly 3.3mm. My plaques were also turbid and circular. During the first half of my experiment, plaques were being displayed across the plates. Over time, plaques were not being seen. After multiple rounds of serial dilutions, it was determined that my plates displayed clear-forming plaques.
