Discovery NotesFound our phage in a puddle on a gravel trail near a soccer field. The area gets a lot of foot traffic, there are animals nearby, and runoff from the grass fields. We collected the sample shortly after rainfall
Naming NotesWanted to name our phage McPhage after Marty McFly (Back to the Future), but as phage naming rules didn't allow us to use the word 'phage', we shortened our phage name to just "Marty"
