Discovery NotesThere was nothing particularly unique about the environment I took the sample from. I just went out after practice one day to a tree that was closest to our hitting facility, and I scooped a handful of soil. It might’ve helped that there was some rain the night before, so the soil was wet.
Naming NotesI choose this name because mashed potatoes are one of my favorite foods and that is what I had to eat yesterday so it is on my mind.
