Discovery NotesThroughout all these protocols, I was able to get consistent results. The data obtained shows the plaques diameter, when plated, was approximately 1 millimeter. The phage itself, was lytic. Lytic phages contain a clear center.
Naming NotesWhen naming my phage, I wanted to come up with something that relates to the location but original. I decided to get my soil sample from my mint garden in my backyard. I also wanted a catchy name. I came up with the name Mighty Mint.
