Discovery NotesI discovered the soil for this phage under a pipeline in Harmony, Florida. The soil was dark and wet, and there was also barely any human traffic in that area. Mikater only infects Microbacterium Foliorum.
Naming NotesThe name of the phage is based on a nickname for my sister Mikaylah. We use the name to poke fun at her.
