Discovery NotesThis soil sample was collected on the Baylor campus outside of Dawson Hall at the edge of a well-trafficated sidewalk. The soil was of a more dry consistency, and vegetation (large tree, grass) was present in the vicinity of the collection.

Naming NotesMonique has always been a unique name to which I have grown attached. I do not wish to personally identify with this name, but I rather view it as a title that should be rewarded to such a special phage of mine.

Plaque NotesDuring my purification process, I noticed I would consistently get small and large (respectively) sized plaques. After each round of purification (4 total), the morphology was consistent. My plaque averaged about 1 mm in size, but larger and smaller plaques did also show.
