Discovery NotesThe soil was covered in snow on the day of extraction. Top soil was pushed aside and the sample was taken from enriched soil approximately 5.08cm below the surface. The soil was most and dark in color, as well as abundant in organic matter. The sample was taken below a tree, about 60.96cm from the base of the tree. The sample was also about the same distance from a ramp going up to a fraternity house with high foot traffic.
Naming NotesWe originally named the phage PhiKappaPsi as an homage to the fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi, from which we took the soil sample. However, this form of greek letters is not allowed so we changed the name to Pheebs, in relation to the original name.

Plaque NotesThe plaques were very large, approximately 4mm. The plaques were clear and didn't have halos, making them virulent phages. The plaques experience crowding at times, which did make them smaller in those places.
