Discovery NotesSoil sample obtained from the edge of the water on Castor Beach on University of South Florida. Castor Beach is home to many Muscovy ducks so, the soil present there is highly concentrated with organic matter. At the time of collection, the temperature was 32.78 degrees Celsius and the humidity was at 81%
Naming NotesI named my phage Pocono after the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania which is where I grew up.
