Discovery NotesThis phage was adopted. It was found near a grassy area next to a sidewalk by Frank Dining Hall.
Naming NotesDuring the first serial dilution lab, one of our lab members breathed on the plate and contaminated the sample. The error was a learning moment for the entire group as we learned the importance of carefully following directions and taking steps to reduce contamination errors. The name serves as a reminder of the moment and the lesson to reduce contamination errors as much as possible.
